Why Am I Running for the School Board?

Education is emancipation. It is a liberating force for social change and among society's most important priorities.

The students of the Antelope Valley Union High School District deserve an experienced person who will advocate for them, who understands the law, and who understands the District. I offer myself as such a candidate.

For the betterment of our community, I offer A Better Vision.

I became blind at age four. Being one of twelve children, I attended public schools before earning a math degree at Yale and a law degree at USC. For 29 years I served as an administrative judge, ensuring that Californians in need received all support guaranteed them by law. Now I am ready to serve as an AVUHSD Trustee to ensure quality education for our students. They are our future.
